Great schooling is the foundation for great opportunities—not just in the classroom, but throughout a student’s entire life. One such opportunity is Advanced Placement learning, a rigorous experience that gives our kids the chance to earn college credits before they’ve graduated from high school, thereby making secondary education more accessible and affordable.

In this brief report, GeorgiaCAN examines the community-wide benefits of the AP program through the lenses of student access and participation. We also highlight the advantages for teenagers who gain exposure to this challenging coursework.
